Could you use some help with a current
relationship situation or problem?
We can help.
Relationship Advising is one of the more unique services provided at the RELATIONSHIP INSTITUTE. With Relationship Advising, you have the opportunity to work with a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP ADVISOR via telephone about your unique life situation and get clear, specific guidance on the most useful, immediate strategies for you to solve your relationship problems and reach your unique relationship goals. You may choose to focus on relationship issues with anyone in your life, be they romantic interests, children, co-workers, or anyone else. You set the time for your Relationship Advising to fit your schedule, with total convenience and complete confidentiality. Our Relationship Advisors are all licensed Master's or Ph.D. level trained therapists with expertise in relationship situations.
With Relationship Advising, there is no need to spend your valuable time driving round-trip to a therapist's office or pay for time you may not need. Relationship Advising is flexible and can be tailored to meet the needs of your unique schedule and lifestyle. It can be done in a variety of ways:
-
by telephone
-
in person
-
by email
Relationship Advising can help you in numerous ways. If you are single and want to get into a relationship, your Advisor will help you develop a Personalized Dating Plan, built upon your unique strengths and experiences as a person. You can review your progress periodically with your Advisor and make changes as necessary to reach your goals. If you are already in a relationship but not sure if you should make a serious commitment to this person, your Advisor can help you review the entire relationship in light of your past relationships and ensure that you are compatible, and that you are not missing any important points which could effect your happiness down the road.
Relationship Advising will help bring out the best skills and strategies you are capable of, and help you understand if you need additional training in one or more areas. Also, if you want, you can set up goals with your Advisor to help give you some external accountability. But you decide how much advising you want or need and schedule your time accordingly.
Relationship Advising is NOT psychotherapy. A key element of psychotherapy is the dynamics of the personal relationship with the psychotherapist, which cannot be created over the phone or by email, only in person. Some people need psychotherapy to help remove blocks which have been created in their families of origin or in past dysfunctional relationships.
We all know how difficult and frustrating it can be to have an important value or goal and not be sure how to reach it. With your own Personal Relationship Advisor, you have an expert on motivation and behavioral-change strategies to help you deal with these challenges in a positive, supportive manner, and help you attain your goals as quickly as possible. If you have been having difficulty creating the relationship you want or reaching a particular life goal, you should definitely consider Relationship Advising.
